19th Century French Gilt .925 Silver Sterling Snuff Box with Elaborate Chasing.

An elaborately chased decorated sterling silver snuff box – French hallmarks dating from the late 19th century.  The chasing and decoration is all around – top, sides and bottom of the box.  The gilding is just superb quality inside and out.

Measures:  3 3/8  inches long   x  2 1/4 inches deep  x  3/4 inches high

Marked with French Silver mark dating between 1840-1879. plus  .925 mark.

Excellent condition.  No repairs or wear to the gold.  Superb quality.
