Birks Sterling Silver Jewelry Box w/ Blue Velvet Lining and Ring Slots

This is an elegant sterling silver jewelry box by Birks. It has a hinged lid that has an engraved with a scrolls and a linear pattern around an oval medallion that is unadorned but could be engraved with an initial or a monogram to personalize it. The interior is a dark cobalt blue velvet that has slots to accommodate 4 rings and room for a few necklaces or earrings.  Three claw feet raise the box and are decorated with a leaf pattern.

Dates circa 1910 up to 1921 as after 1921 Birks used their own hallmarking system to date their silver.

Box Measures:  3 3/4 inches in diameter x 2 1/8 inches high.

Marked:  Birks, Sterling.

Excellent Condition:  No dents cracks or repairs. The hinge works great and the lid closes tightly.
