Sterling Silver & Etched Crystal 2 Handled Vase – Late 19th Century

An impressive two handled vase with a expertly etched crystal body with sterling silver mounts.  The sterling parts consist of both a wide collar that covers the neck inside and out, decorated with rose garlands that drape overtop of the crystal body and two elegant handles featuring feline heads, and a fluted round base adorned with leaves running up the sides upon which the crystal body is mounted. Dates the late 19th century.

Marked: Sterling on bottom with maker’s hallmark that is rubbed and unknown to me. Possibly American.
Measures: 9 1/8 inches high x 5 1/4 inches wide (at handles).
Excellent Condition: No chips or cracks in the crystal and the sterling mounts are well attached.
