English Silver Hallmarked Sterling Tea Pot, dated London, 1819.

A lovely english Georgian silver hallmarked sterling tea pot, it is dated London, 1819.  The tea pot is quite large in size, its has a beautiful dark hardwood handle and top on the lid attached. It is engraved with decorations of bead, floral and scrolls, with a unique ribbon crest in the centre.

A delightful sterling tea pot that once used as everyday object at the time for a classic spot of tea, or entertaining with others.

Measures: 4 inches in height x  5 inches wide / 2 inches from the handle

Marked: Marker’s mark: unknown. Lion passant for .925 sterling silver, Crown Leopard’s head for London, Reign during King George III period, ‘d’ dated 1819.

Condition: Minimal scratches on the surface from gentle use. It has no dents in the silver, or cracks in the wood. The lid has been professionally reinforced, and shows signs of repair(see image for referral).
