French Limoges Hand Painted Fish Platter, circa 1910.

A large fish platter with a hand-painted scene from Limoges, it dates circa 1910, France. The platter is beautifully hand-painted with a large fish in the centre surrounded by water, and small fish in the border of the design. It consists of colours of brown, blue, green, red and orange decorated in the scene on white porcelain.

The platter is a delightful fish on fish platter composition– and the story of this platter would have been used for serving delicious fish dishes.

Measures: 23 1/2 inches in length  x  10 inches wide
