FurnitureEnglish Regency Revival style rectangular dining table in Honduras mahogany with satinwood crossbanded inlay trim. The double pair of carved gun barrel bases with quadruple outsplayed legs are fitted with elegant brass “toes” and castors. The table has three leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. The leaves are mahogany with satinwood banding, but the grain is not the same Honduras mahogany.
Honduras mahogany is a highly prized hardwood tree native to Central and South America including southern Mexico. It’s commercially significant and known for its beautiful appearance, easy workability, and durability. Capable of seating 10-12 people, it is an extraordinary piece of furniture which will add splendour to any room.
