Silver HollowareAn impressive pair of large silver-plated three-light candelabra dating from the late 19th century.
Each candelabrum is finely modelled in the Rococo Revival taste, with a tall fluted central column rising from an elaborate shaped base richly decorated with scrolling foliage, floral ornament and raised cartouches. Graceful foliate branches extend to either side, supporting three candle sockets with removable drip pans (bobeche)
The substantial proportions and highly decorative design give the pair considerable presence, making them particularly effective as dining table, sideboard or mantel centrepieces. The centre 3 branches are removable for easy cleaning and storage.
