RARE EARLY TIFFANY Set of 12 STERLING SILVER Pastry Forks in Japanese Bird Pattern (Audubon)
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vThis is an very rare set of 12 pastry forks by Tiffany and Co. First introduced in 1871 and produced until the 1930’s. It is called Japanese and is adorned on the satin finished handles with a graceful bird perched and ready for flight from delicate foliage.
These 3 pronged pastry forks, we know are early because they have a distinct knob that protrudes form the linear shaft of each fork.
A monogram “M” on back of each fork.
Marked on back: M, Tiffany & Co. , Sterling , PAT. 1871.
Each fork Measures: 6 1/4 inches long.
Excellent condition – No damage or repairs.
