Ronald Ossory Dunlop was an Irish author and painter in oil of landscapes, seascapes, figure studies, portraits and still lip. He was a member of the Royal Academy.
The painting is a scene in Stratford-on-Avon with houses and trees situated along the river. Signed on the lower right. According to the gallery label the painting was featured in the Art Review in November 1937.
