Chinese – Late Qing Dynasty Ink Stone in Inlaid Wood Box
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vThis lovely Chinese ink stone dates from the late Qing Dynasty, and has a reservoir used for ink. The stone is encased in a decorative wooden box that has a beautiful inlaid depiction of a woman in mother of pearl and other stones. The inkstone itself has Chinese writing carved into it. The stone is very heavy for its size and fits perfectly into the box.
