A handsomely decorated early English sterling silver George III period tankard by James Smith dated 1736. Tankard has had a spout added in the middle of the 19th century – which is decorated with a face mask. Beautiful condition.
Marked. English Hallmarked Sterling. Maker: James Smith – dated 1736.
Measures: 6 1/2 inches tall x 8 inches wide (2 1/2 inches wide from handle)
A set of 3 – Chinese Canton Silver Vases – created by Pao Kuang, dates circa, 1830-1860. It features a set: 1 vase with a unique two-arm amphora styled neck, and 2 vases with lacquer wooden bases and hand carved design. Each vase is decorated with an unusual repousse pattern with traditional Chinese motifs containing birds, blossoms and tree branches throughout.
Marked. Chinese Hallmarked Sterling. Marker: Pao Kuang (dates 1830- 1860)
Two-Handled Vase: 13 inches tall x 5 inches wide.
Vase with Wood Base: 12 inches x 4 inches wide.
Excellent condition. Minor wear.
