18th Century Chippendale Period 8 Drawer Chest on Chest – with Pull Out Folding Shelf – circa 1760 – 78 Inches high.

A beautiful quality George III period Chippendale chest on chest (highboy) with intricate hand carved decoration.  The chest has 8 drawers of varying sizes as well as a pull out folding shelf.  The chest sits on pierced and carved tall Georgian bracket feet and each drawer has brass pulls and brass key escutcheons.  The hand carving is decorated in the typical Chippendale style.
