18th Century Pratt Ware Soft Paste Porcelain Figural Tea Caddy, c. 1790

Pratt Ware Soft-paste China Macaroni Figures Tea Caddy, circa. 1790. Obverse depicts an embossed gentleman in an exaggerated high wig with his servant standing beside him and reverse depicts a similarly caricatured lady and her servant. Yellow and blue highlights with blue geometric motifs on top and sides.

The tea caddy with lid measure 6 3/4 inches tall and the tea caddy is 3 3/4 inches wide at the base.

There are a number of paint chips on the body of the caddy and on the rim of both the caddy and lid as well as one on the finial.
