19th Century – 11 piece French .950 Silver Serving Piece Set in Custom Box circa 1860

A lovely set of French silver serving pieces in a custom fit box by maker Désiré Mousset (1856-1902)

The set consists of

Salad Servers (fork & spoon)
Fish Servers (fork & knife)
Pastry Server
Carving Fork (missing carving knife)
Lamb Bone Holder
4 Small hors d’oeuvres servers –  spoon/2 lifters/fork

plus custom fit box.

Each handle marked with French “Head of Minerva” silver mark which dates the set between 1838 and 1878 with a Silver fineness of .950 out of 1000 plus maker’s marks.
