A handsome brass French clock retailed through Bristol Goldsmiths Alliance from Bristol, England circa 1885.

Marked on face :  Bristol Goldsmiths All. ce.  – Paris.
Works stamped with circle “Medal D’argent” mark.

Bristol Goldsmiths formed in the early 1880s – watch and clock makers, diamond merchants, jewellers, goldsmiths & silversmiths and retailers in Bristol England.

Coil gong chime that rings on the hour and half hour.
