A bronze figure of a whippet dog, it dates 19th century, England. It is quite fine and detailed, it features a remarkable presence by the tension of the muscles and skeleton. The dog is captured in a still-motion, as if the action of dog was paused in a moment of walking. It rests it’s skinny body and four legs upon a large rectangular platform.
