19th Century Majolica Pottery Jug – Pansy Decoration

A wonderful 19th century majolica pottery jug, colorfully decorated with a two-tone brown patterned background and a large purple pansy and green leaves on each side of the jug.

The jug is 7 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the base.

Please note that there is a hairline crack on the inside of the jug near the top (please see the photo for details) and a small chip on right side of the jug lip.
