Oil on Wood Panel Portrait of Beethoven – signed Zéphir de Winter

A very well painted portrait of composer Ludwig van Beethoven by Zéphyr de Winter (born 1891- died ??).  Painted oil on mahogany panel.  Great features and very realistic portrait.  The painting sits under a glass front which has kept the painting very clean for the last 100 years.  Photos taken with glass front and then with the panel removed – shows the deep, rich colours of the painting.  Singed Z. de Winter – top right corner in red.  Framed in a gilt wood frame.

Frame Measures: 14 inches x 12 inches wide.

Portrait Measures: x 10 1/8 inches long x 8 1/8 inches wide.
