19th Century Ornate Silver Plated Pierced Asparagus Server with Mother of Pearl Handle

This elegant asparagus server has many redeeming qualities including it’s expertly engraved and pierced work, when you press down your thumb to raise the top part to pick up the asparagus it naturally springs back into place to grasp the spears gently and it will elevate any dining table with its beauty and functionality. The mother of pearl handle is crested with a bird with out stretched wings, is well attached and it fits nicely in the hand.
