Each features a large bodied design with gilt goat head handles, cobalt blue background with heavy gilt decoration – both on square pedestal bases and removable lids.
Each vase has a hand painted Scenes on the front – one of a lake and trees / the other of a far off castle – The back features smaller country scenes. Beautiful gilding all around.
marks: In green, Coalport with crown – England. A.D. 1750.
In orange, Bishop Birmingham Martitime Aus. (probably the retailer).
Each Vase Measures : 16 inches tall x 9 inches wide (handle to handle)
Excellent condition. Gilding on Finials on both lids have some overpaint.
