4 Piece Ryrie / Birks Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea Service – Coffee, Tea, Creamer and Sugar Bowl

Here is a wonderful 4-piece Ryrie / Birks Sterling silver coffee and tea service, consisting of a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and double-handled sugar bowl.

All pieces are in a ‘Melon’ shape and are elaborately embossed with swirls, leaves and flowers.

The tea pot and coffee pot have ebony handles and finials and the creamer and sugar bowl have a gold wash on their insides.

The tea pot is slightly older and is marked “Ryrie Sterling” on the underside (Eventually Ryrie & Birks joined under the Birks name) ; the other pieces are all marked “Birks Sterling”. The tea pot is the only piece that is monogrammed with a “M” in the centre.

The coffee pot measures 8 inches tall;
the tea pot measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall and the creamer and sugar bowl are 3 1/2 inches tall.

All pieces are in good condition.
