Gorgeous lilac guilloche enamelling with white floral accents on this travel/desk clock by A. Gubelin, Lucerne Switzerland, circa 1920. Marked Argent Dore silver 0.935 on the clock trim and stand. Gilt metal dore over clockworks. Attention to detail is in every aspect of the design from the clock face numbers & hands to the intricately cast trim on the legs and around the clock face. In excellent condition and the fact that this is a working clock with an alarm just adds to the luxury.
