A beautifully sculpture – cast of ‘Diana the Huntress’ – cast in Iron, Zinc & Copper by Alexander Birkholz – American, Hartford, Conn – with a patent for his compositions in the US Patent Dept in 1864.

The sculpture sits on a mahogany base – the sculpture of Diana with a Bow and Arrow in her arms and Arm lifted above her head with a Bird sitting upon her hand.

Marked in relief on the back of the sculpture :  Alexander Birkholz, Hartford, Conn.

Measures 60 inches tall.
