A Large English Hallmarked Sterling Table Snuff Box by Frances Clark – dated 1845

A lovely sterling silver table snuff box by silver maker Francis Clark who was considered to be one of the top box makers of the Georgian / Victorian era.  The coffer shaped box with repoussé decoration around the rim and the top – with a beautiful gilt interior.

English hallmarks for Birmingham 1845.  Maker’s mark FC for Francis Clark.
