Gorham, American Sterling Silver Federal Style Water Jug

An American Sterling Hallmarked Water Jug by Gorham – dates 20th century, circa 1940. It features a large footed water jug with scalloped handle, styled in the federalist period with a very elegant and minimalist body and shape. Holds up to 5 pints (roughly 2.84 litres).

Marked on the bottom, ‘Gorham’ American Sterling Hallmarked.
