Antique Georgian Miniature Portrait circa 1800 – displayed in 9ct Gold Frame (dated 1906)

A beautifully hand painted miniature portrait of a young gentleman in Georgian clothes – presented in the oval.   The miniature painting is on a thin piece of ivory (as was common for the period).  The portrait is displayed in a 9ct gold English oval frame with ribbon decoration, two ball feet and a hinged stand.

Frame marked 9ct.  Also impressed with English Registration number RD449103 – dating the frame for 1906.

Measures:  3 inches tall x 1 3/4 inches wide.
