Art Nouveau Bronze Bust of a Woman – Titled “Gaite” – Marble Base & Signed “G. Van Der Straeten” – Belgium

A gorgeous Art Nouveau patina’d bronze bust of a woman, titled “Gaite” on a brass plaque at the base of the bust. On the plaque is also written “Cites Bronzes Bruxelles”. The bronze sits on a mottled marble base and is signed “G. Van Der Straeten”.

Georges Van Der Straeten (Belgian, active 1856-1928))

The bronze with base measures 19 3/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition.
