Art Nouveau Sterling Cameo Brooch / Buckle of a Woman inlaid with Green Emeralds, Blue Sapphires & Diamond – c.1890

A gorgeous sterling silver oval cameo brooch / buckle of an Art Nouveau portrait of a woman.   The beautiful woman is wearing a necklace of blue sapphires with a single centre diamond.  The bodice of her gown is accented with primitive cut emeralds. The brooch has a silver “twist” border rim.

The brooch is marked “Sterling” on the hook and weighs 42 grams.

It measures 2 1/2 inches long X 1 7/8 inches wide.

It is in excellent condition with a tight closure and strong pin back.
