Aynsley England Hand-Painted Bone China Portrait Plate – “Loch Lomond” – Scottish Landscape, Signed M. Harris

A wonderful Aynsley England bone china hand-painted scenic plate of the Loch Lomond countryside in Scotland, signed by the artist, M. Harris, in the bottom right corner of the scene.

The plate is very colourful with a gorgeous cobalt blue and patterned gold border and scalloped rim and is accented by white enamel dots around the inside rim.

The back of the plate shows the maker’s mark and is stamped “Aynsley England” and “3338” in green paint. In addition, in red paint, “Loch Lomond” is written.

The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter.

There is some very slight wear on the gilt but, overall, this piece is in excellent condition.
