Burled Walnut Large Regency Period Sarcophagus Shaped Tea Caddy Box – circa 1815

A handsome burled walnut sarcophagus shaped tea caddy box with two removable tea boxes and centre removable platform inside.  Regency carved curled feet and gadroon edging.  The box is quite large for a tea caddy measuring:  The interior of the hinged top is ruffled fabric and the interior tea boxes and platform can all be removed if you desire the box to be used for another purpose.  Original key with it also locks the box to protect you valuables.

Measures: 15 inches long x  9.5 inches tall x 8.5 inches deep
