Cartier, Italy – Fratelli Cacchione Italian Sterling Silver (.925 standard) Cigarette case for Cartier with a Blue Cabochon Sapphire – circa 1960’s

The case has a sleek, dynamic linear design by the Italian firm Fratelli Cacchione of Milan Italy. Hallmarked inside “Cartier Italy”and sterling silver FC.925  & 39 MI. The FC mark was in use from 1959-1970.  The clasp has a beautiful blue sapphire stone. This world renowned firm was founded in 1889 in Florence and moved to Milan in 1935. Cacchione made commission pieces for Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Asprey, Harry Winston & Bedetti of Rome including creating pieces for the World’s elite like The Princess Diana and The Royal Family of Qatar.
