Chinese Carved Red and Black Cinnabar Cylindrical Box, Blue Interior, Brass Fittings

A beautiful and unusual Chinese carved red and black cinnabar cylindrical box with a vibrant blue enamel interior and base. There is a brass rim around the box and around the underside rim of the domed lid. The box has carvings of flowers and leaves.

The box is 3 1/4 inches in diameter across the base and stands 3 3/4 inches tall.

It is in excellent condition.
