Chinese Hinged Box – Carved with Dragons and Birds Lined with Red Velvet

This 19th century Chinese hinged box features a hand-carved design of dragons and birds from Chinese folk tales upon the exterior of the box amidst swirls of clouds. Stained a deep red colour under a high gloss finish accented with a red velvet interior. The box is quite large with curved hinges, it is a perfect size for storing, or organizing fine objects.

Measures: 12 inches long x 7 1/2 inches wide x 6 3/8 inches tall.

Excellent Condition: Some seams show expansion.
