Chinese Porcelain Watermelon Shaped Painted Jar with Lid, Late Xing Dynasty, Women & Chinese Characters.

A lovely Chinese porcelain watermelon shaped jar with removable lid and separate carved, footed, wooden stand. The jar is from the late Xing Dynasty and shows women figures with flowers and butterflies on one side and Chinese characters on the other side.

The jar measures 13 inches tall from the finial to the base and the stand is 6 1/4 inches in diameter x 2 inches tall.

There is a small chip on the tip of the lid finial but, overall, the piece is in very good condition.
