Clear Crystal Dresser Jar / Hair Receiver with Sterling Silver Lid – Ellis Bros, Toronto c.1900

Here is a beautiful, heavy, clear crystal panelled dresser jar / hair receiver with sterling silver lid by Ellis Bros of Toronto circa 1900. The lid has a hole for the hair, is initialled “W” on the top and is stamped “Sterling” with the hallmarks on the side.

The jar with lid is 3 1/2 inches wide at the top and stands 2 1/2 inches tall.

The lid has a little bit of age / usage wear but, overall, both pieces are in very good condition.
