Colourful Dresden – Schumann Bavaria Empress – Flowered Teapot with Gilt Accents

A gorgeous porcelain Schumann Bavaria Empress Dresden flowered teapot with matching lid. It has a white background with sprays of very colourful flowers and gilt accents on the body, handle, and rim of the teapot and finial of the teapot lid.

On the underside of the teapot is the maker’s stamp and the writing “Dresden”, “Schumann” and “Bavaria”.

The teapot with lid measures 7 inches tall X 9 3/4 inches wide from spout to handle.

Please note that there is some gilt loss on the handle, tip of the teapot spout and the lid finial but, overall, the pieces are in excellent condition.
