Double Sided Chinese Cloisonné Hinged Box, c. 1900

A lovely hinged Chinese box, circa 1900, decorated with cloisonné enamel showing a pattern of blossoms and a bird on both sides of the box. The interior of the box is a vivid blue and the hinges, closure and trim are in brass.

The box measures 3 inches square and is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs.

    Large 17 Inch Japanese ARITA Kakiemon Charger – Possibly 17th Century

    Here is a lovely large Japanese hand-decorated charger plate, 17 3/4 inches in diameter Kakiemon style from the Arita area of Japan.

    The outside of the charger is decorated in blue on a white background while the interior is wonderfully painted with designs in pink, red, green, yellow, grey, black, and brown on the white background.

    The charger is in excellent condition.  An label on back from a previous retailer shows “Arita 17th Century”

    Measures 17 3/4 inches diameter.

    Here is a gorgeous, hand-painted, signed Kutani Japanese 19th century porcelain bowl.

    It is on a white background and is lavishly decorated with colourful Japanese figures, flowers, butterflies and country scenes in orange, black, pink, blue, yellow, gray, and red paint, embellished with enamel.

    There are decorations on both the interior and exterior of the bowl (please see the gallery photos for details).

    The bowl measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter.

    A lovely Chinese porcelain teapot with lid, circa 1900.

    The teapot and lid have a white background and are decorated with floral designs in red, green, blue, yellow and pink, accented by panels of orange and gold as well as gold on the tip of the teapot lid finial.

    The teapot measures 8 inches wide from spout to handle and measures approximately 6 inches in height from the tip of the finial to the base.
