18th Century – English “Liverpool” Chinoiserie Porcelain Teapot – c. 1765

Early English porcelain “Liverpool” teapot c. 1765, decorated with Chinese figures on a white background.

Liverpool porcelain refers to soft paste porcelain produced between 1757 and 1800 in various factories in Liverpool, England.  Most of the products were exported to the Americas and West Indies.

The teapot is 6.5 inches from the tip of the spout to the handle.

Please note that there is a small fleabite on edge of the lid (please see one of the photos for details).
Otherwise the teapot is in excellent condition for its age.
