Early Flight Barr & Barr , Worcester Roses Cup & Saucer circa 1820

An early 19th century Worcester cup and saucer from the Flight, Barr & Barr period.  Hand painted roses over a creamy yellow background with gadroon gilded rims.  The handle and the foot of the cup are also gilded.  Flowers painted on both sides of cup as well as 2 bouquets on the saucer.

Beautiful quality.  The Flight, Barr & Barr period circa 1820.

Marked on bottom of cup and saucer :  FBB under crown.

Cup measures: 4 1/2 inches long to handle x 3 3/4 inches cup diameter.
Saucer measures: 6 inches diameter.

Excellent condition – no chips, cracks or repairs.  No restoration.  Slight gold wear to top rim of cup, very minimal gold wear to rim of saucer.
