Ellis-Barker Silver-plated Wine Bottle Holder – Wolf Head Medallions – circa 1900

A silver-plated wine bottle holder that sits on 3 feet and has a decorated, pierced body. There are swag decorations with wolf’s head medallions separating the swags around the body of the holder.

The maker’s mark for Ellis-Barker on the underside .  Dates circa 1900
The Barker Ellis Silver Co Ltd, established in 1801, is one of the oldest firms of silversmiths and electroplaters now trading in Birmingham.

The holder measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the opening and stands 4 1/8 inches tall and fits a regular size bottle.

It is in very good condition.
