English Hallmarked London Sterling Silver Coffee Pot – dated 1833.

A stunning Repoussé decorated sterling coffee pot dated for London, 1833.  The  repoussé and chasing is mainly with large leaves and small florals; the finial is in the shape of a blooming rose and both the base & the neck of the spout continue the leaf pattern.  The coffee pot is quite heavy weighing 754 grams of sterling .925 silver. Exquisite quality that the photos do not do justice.

Marked:  Lions head for London, Left facing lion passant denoting .925 sterling silver,  S for the year 1833, the head of William IV and maker mark of  “WH” for William Hewitt. The body, lid, handle and finial are hallmarked.

Coffee Pot measures: 9 inches high x 10 1/8 inches wide (handle to spout).

Total Weight:  754 grams
