English Hand-Painted Bristol Glass Biscuit Barrel with Silver-Plated Lid and Handle, c. 1890

A lovely English hand-painted Bristol Glass biscuit barrel with a floral pattern engraved silver-plated lid and silver-plated handle.

The biscuit barrel has a light yellow background and is painted with orange flowers and blue and green leaves and foliage on both sides of the piece. There is a band of gold paint around the base of the piece.

The biscuit barrel with handle is 10 inches tall and is 4 1/4 inches wide across the base.

It is in excellent condition.
