This handsome English Regency mahogany armchair, circa 1820, has scrolling ram’s horn arms and bowed crest and lumbar rails. The sweeping back legs are beautifully balanced with the gracefully shaped front legs. The yellow ochre velvet apholstery and the aged patina and colour of the mahogany make this a very striking chair.
