Framed and Matted Engraving – “Lloyd’s – The Underwriting Room” – 1886

Here is a lovely ink engraving, entitled “Lloyd’s – The Underwriting Room”, originally published in 1886 by the Illustrated London News and depicting the hustle and bustle of the Lloyd’s office in London. The engraving is nicely matted under glass and has a plain, elegant gilt frame.

The engraving with frame measures 16 inches wide X 14 inches tall.
The engraving by itself is 9 1/8 inches wide X 6 1/4 inches tall.

Both the engraving and frame are in excellent condition.
