A lovely turn of the century French clock in brass with beveled glass sides, front and back. The champlevé enamel decoration brightens the top and makes it very colourful. The finial and side pillars are made of a French jasper ware type porcelain. The pendulum is also decorated in champlevé enamel. The chime rings on the half hour and the hour. The face is white enameled with gilt decoration.
Marked Made in France with circle mark of Japy Freres, a prominent French clock maker from the 19th century up until the early 20th century.
