French Bronze, Gilt Bronze & Silvered Bronze 3 piece Garniture Clock Set In a Japanese Style, circa 1860
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA lovely 3 piece garniture clock set consisting of a clock and 2 matching candleholders. The set is French but in a Japanese style with the clock featuring a Geisha girl bust on top with a silvered bronze face and gilt bronze decoration. The body of the clock and candle holders in a combination of patina’d black bronze, gilt bronze and silvered bronze – with japanese trees, cranes, and florals. The clock has a white enamelled face with black Roman numerals. There is no chime, just one slot for winding the time with the provided key. The movement is not one with a pendulum.
Clock runs for 8 days and is in working condition.
Clock measures: 13 inches high x 7 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches deep
Candle Holders measure: 8 inches high
