French Enamelled Glass Box. c.1880.

A lovely enamelled box, it dates circa 1880, France.  It is decorated with an elegant design of leaf, shell, clover and bead in gold, violet and white, on glass in a aquamarine colour.  It consists of a smooth form and round bodied shape with a finished pontil, in the centre, there is a brass rim, and two hinges in the back in solid working condition.

A delightful French enamelled box, perfect for a unique gift, or container for fine objects.

Measures: 2 inches tall.  4 1/2 inches in diameter.

Excellent Condition. No chips, or cracks or repairs.
