A very pretty  French bonheur-du-jour (lady’s writing desk) with marquetry inlay in several types of wood including burl walnut, olive wood, satinwood and burled yew.  The front is hinged and opens to a flat desk in red velvet supported by the drawer underneath.  There are two extra drawers for additional storage.  Ebonized base with Louis XVI style legs and bronze mounted hardware and trim.
