French Round Occasional Table with Parquetry Inlaid Top and “Ormolu” Gilt Bronze Mounts

A fine example of circa 1910 French Louis XVI style furniture, characterized by the elegance of the designs of the royal furniture in the Palace of Versailles. This French mahogany occasional round tabletop has an exquisite parquetry design. Four fine bronze gilded “ormolu” mounts are found on the circumference of the vertical tabletop band as well as on each cabriole leg and foot. The elegance of this fine craftsmanship brings added luxury to any space.
