Georgian English Hallmarked Sterling Wine Funnel – London 1820

A fine sterling silver wine funnel, it dates London, 1820, Georgian Period. It features a lovely plain form and a embellished rim with applied shell thumb piece, and a detachable inner bowl mounted with thread border.  The tall stem with ribs is used to enable air to escape the decanter and wine decanter.
